Earlier this year, social media posts began to appear from an "official" Nick Drake account, sparking both intrigue and concern that the bottom of the long-passed artist's beautiful barrel was about to be scraped with "previously unheard" songs that were meant to stay that way. What we got instead, however, was this rather unpredictable and mostly pretty brilliant compilation of Nick Drake covers. It's an eclectic array, featuring the likes of Fontaines D.C., Feist, Liz Phair, Skullcrusher, and plenty of lesser known but quite lovely talents. Most notably for us, though, is that it features two of our own finest folk, with Nadia Reid tackling Poor Boy, and Aldous Harding with regular collaborator John Parish tackling Three Hours. Curious?
