We're very traditional sorts here at Flying Out, but only when it comes to the matter of carrying on a tradition of MNDSGN album titles. The Stones Throw mainstay has just announced the follow-up to the looser-knit song collection Snax and its sequel Snaxx, called - no points for guessing - Snaxxx! Often closer in nature to beat tapes, and more freely experimental than his "proper" studio albums, MNDSGN's Snax series allow fans to walk on the wild side of MNDSGN's m(i)nd, often with gloriously genre-hopping and psychedelic results. - Flying Out
Mndsgn returns with the third installment in his series of "Snax" records – Snaxxx. Looser and more freeform than Mndsgn's LPs, the Snax series has all the hallmarks of the artist and producer's style – rhythmic flair, earworming melodies, and whimsical sense of humour – all in bite-sized, snackable format. Stones Throw has been Mndsgn's label home ever since he released his debut album, Yawn Zen. Three albums – and two Snax editions later – Mndsgn has grown his fanbase globally.
