This mat is made of an engineered cork and rubber composite material, used to dampen vibration before it is radiated as noise and before it is transmitted to other system components. Enables better sound quality while playing music by adhering closely to the vinyl record which suppresses the resonances arising and creates a quiet background, improving the sound quality of every turntable.
