Vorn Colgan has been a mainstay of the Powertool roster, having released six albums since 2005. Following on from the hugely successful “Last Chance To See Vorn” tour of 2019/2020, we bring you a tribute album entitled Vorn - They Don’t Know You Like We Do. Early 2019, Vorn was diagnosed with stage four cancer, hence the “Last Chance” tagline. The idea to create this album was a direct response to that “Last Chance” tour. Vorn has responded well to treatment so in late January, we released the CD version of this album and celebrated with a couple of shows in Vorn’s home town of New Plymouth and his current resident city of Wellington. featuring The Vorn Band, The Fuzzies, Quaint and The Holy Loner.

The brand new tribute album features peers re-interpreting his distinctive songwriting. Some of the contributors include Mr Sterile, The Fuzzies, Rough Church, The Holy Loner, Kedron Parker, The New Existentialists, Model Train Wreck, Quaint, Mackle, Wilson & Young and The Doubtful Sounds. “Colgan is one of this country’s greatest songwriters” - Simon Sweetman, Dominion Post
