In 1975, the trio commenced work on their first Island-financed long player with their efforts culminating in the widely acclaimed 'Reggae Got Soul' album. Overseen by American producer, Joe Boyd, it is arguably their finest collection for the company, with its popularity ensuring what proved to be a long and successful relationship between Island and the group. Now, 40 years after the group cut the tracks in Jamaica, the seminal LP finally receives the deluxe treatment it has long since deserved. Featured along with the original 10 tracks are an equal number of bonus tracks, comprising rare contemporary material, much of which has until now never seen issue.
