Since January 2021, this dog have been making grunge & miswestern emo fused alt-rock out of a storage unit next to the Sewage Plant in East Christchurch. Out of this glamour, the 5 piece have cemented their name as a rising act in the Ōtautahi alt rock scene.
After winning the inaugural Dig The Gig competition in 2021, this dog was awarded a day to record their first single Feel the Same with LOHO Studios at no cost. They soon banded with their friends at Moonbase Records to record 4 more tracks on the cheap, before they we're selected for RDU's ŌMAP (Ōtautahi Music Access Programme) where they recorded their final track Bug Eyed once again at no cost.
Whilst making bootleg CD's of Clean Living using cheap jewel cases and printing the artwork onto a4 printer paper using a freely accessible printer at on of their workplaces (thanks Placemakers); they were judged over 559 other unsigned acts from New Zealand and Australia by Monster Children (AU) and Holiday Records (AKL) to win the inaugural 'WAXED COMPETITION' winning 300 professionally made Vinyls of their EP.
this dog may be the most financially unstable band in New Zealand to have Vinyl Pressings of their studio recorded debut, but their success so far has been based on merit and they don't look to be stopping anytime soon.
Maybe they'll move to a storage unit near a better smelling Sewage Plant.
