Having previously stated she would never release an album again after her 2018 record Threads, Sheryl Crow has ditched that promise and surprised fans with the announcement of her brand new album Evolution. The album cover might be of dubious quality, but the first tune released - Alarm Clock - is a killer pop rock jam, with Crow stating that these new songs were born out of a period of soul searching, in which words and music flowed unexpectedly and naturally.
