Ummagumma by Pink Floyd was released in 1969. It was the band’s third album and first album to feature the line-up of Gilmour, Waters, Wright and Mason (not counting their soundtrack to the film More). The change in line-up was also marked by a departure in sound from their psychedelic roots. A double LP, the first two sides featured live performances recorded in Manchester and Birmingham with sides 3 & 4 being taken up by experimental pieces from each band member.
