How does your pre-order work?

Whether it was Harry Styles or a life spent crate digging that led you to adore Yellow Magic Orchestra founder Haruomi Hosono's Hosono House album, we all agree it's brilliant. This collection of weird and wonderful reworks from the likes of Akiko Yano, Mac DeMarco, Cornelius, and John Carroll Kirby is guaranteed to delight! - Flying Out

A compilation of reworks of Haruomi Hosono’s iconic solo debut, Hosono House, celebrating 50 years since its release. This compilation sees musicians from the Stones Throw roster and beyond offer up their own interpretations of Hosono’s songs. Participating artists include Sam Gendel, John Carroll Kirby feat. The Mizuhara Sisters (Kiko & Yuka), Pearl & The Oysters, Jerry Paper, Cornelius, Akiko Yano, and more.

Haruomi Hosono is the legendary artist best known for Hosono House and his tenure in the seminal band Yellow Magic Orchestra. Hosono House still sounds as fresh as it did in 1973.
