The infectiously wonderful songs of Jefferson "Goodspace" Chen are finally here on vinyl, orange vinyl no less! Let's Talk About Death is ten times more uplifting than a brief glance at the album title might initially suggest, with anthems that get you dancing while opening up a necessary conversation about life itself. It's a veritable smorgasbord, which might explain why the album's initial release was held as a pop-up store in the Lim Chhour food court on Karangahape Road. Brilliant bops, ponderous pop, and catchy dang tunes - you gotta get Goodspace! - Flying Out

Goodspace
presents the debut album ‘Let’s Talk About Death’, pressed in 12” orange vinyl with a limited edition Z-fold booklet containing lyrics, acknowledgements, art, and photos.

From ‘lightly boiling bass and percussion (She Don't Need You) to the psychedelic soul of Kicking Stones, through minimalist pop (the glitchy SIT DOWN) to the gravity-defying, feather-light Soap Dish’, this album is Goodspace’s most important work to date. Featuring co-writers and collaborators, Lloyd Thomason (Lloyd Kennedy), Callum Lee (Rewind Fields), Jamie Martell (Raymond Sunshine), Quentin Lind, Louie Galloway, Nick Annear, and Kiwi legends, Mareea Paterson and Andrew MacLaren.

Hailing from Tāmaki Makaurau, Goodspace also composes for immersive theatre, short films, documentaries, and most recently, created a one-of-a-kind album installation named VENDOR where the artist was the vendor, the album was the menu, and the music was the meal. All set in our very own Lim Chhour Food Court on Karangahape Rd.
