Beanpole is the debut album from Naarm's Georgia Knight. Written largely on autoharp and filledwith shadowed, cinematic soundscapes, Beanpole weaves dark-pop moods with trip-hop pulsesand sweeping synth layers, signalling a striking sonic departure from the artist’s folk origins. ‘Mingle’ is the second single from Beanpole, following lead single ‘Desire’.It also marks Georgia’s first release since her 2023 Hell on Bent Street EP, which saw her perform at Rising, Dark Mofo and Camp A Low Hum, as well as supports for Blonde Redhead, Mogwai, Angie McMahonand Maple Glider.
