Flor De Amor
Flor de Amor marks a change in direction for Omara Portuondo. Co-produced by Nick Gold and innovative young Brazilian Alê Siqueira, her second solo album for World Circuit reveals a more richly textured and subtle side to Omara's sound. On this album the Buena Vista Social Club's leading lady is backed by a renowned "A" team of Cuban musicians who, combined with a selection of excellent Brazilian musicians, give the album its distinctive style.
