It was with some bittersweet relief that fans got the news that Depeche Mode would continue on after the death in 2022 of founding member Andy Fletcher. The band's most recent album Memento Mori arrived earlier this year to fairly universal acclaim, and single Wagging Tongue was considered a fan favourite.
