Having made a name for himself as a rapper with his solo debut in 2018, Chuck Strangers is back with the assured and solid solo follow-up A Forsaken Lover's Plea. As the name might suggest, this is Chuck's most personal work to day, turning his eye inward to reckon with his own past as he considers the future. With much of the album self-produced, there are plenty of guests at the controls too, including The Alchemist, NV, and more, and there are guests aplenty on the verses too, including fellow Pro Era collective member Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies' Erick the Architect, and Remy Banks of World's Fair.
