From shaping the sound of rare groove, Latin jazz and soul in the '80s, to coining the term "acid jazz" alongside Gilles Peterson, Bangs has been a fixture of British dance music across decades. He’s produced for Paul Weller, remixed Roy Ayers, and played everywhere from Special Branch to Bournemouth weekenders.
