Celine (Vinyl LP)

Having blown out eardrums galore in the mid 90s in their first incarnation, Tāmaki Makaurau band Celine have regrouped with a new line-up, ready to bring their blistering indie rock sound to the masses anew. Citing their reasons for being as "outsider melancholic pop" and 90s noise rock, the band recently supported Mogwai, and seem to well and truly be back on the scene. This self-titled 5-track EP was originally unleashed in December of last year, but when it comes to vinyl sometimes good things take time, so here it is at last! - Flying Out

Following their debut 2022 EP, The Last Days of Evolution, Celine will release a new self-titled vinyl EP mixed by New York based engineer Andrew Schneider, and mastered by Bob Weston in Chicago. The recordings reflect the band’s shared love of outsider melancholic pop, 90’s noise rock pairs a signature noisy pop songcraft with exacting sonic heft, played with conviction at amplifier worship volume.
