This sumptuous solo debut from Dead Can Dance founder Brendan Perry has been out of print since its release in 1999, and has since become rabidly sought after. 4AD could simply have reissued the album on its own and been done with it, but here we have a deluxe double LP edition that comes complete with an even rarer live recording from 1993. Both the album itself and Live at the I.C.A. include note perfect covers of yearning Tim Buckley songs, which should give you some clue as to the plaintive, slow and gutsy sounds on offer here. - Flying Out
Dead Can Dance’s Brendan Perry reissues his debut solo album, Eye of the Hunter, expanded to now include a bonus live album Live at the I.C.A., recorded during the 4AD’s 13 Year Itch residency at the storied London venue in 1993.
