Sometimes I Wish I Were a Beagle but I'm not sure about Eagle. Then again you can imagine Bill Callahan swooping over the landscape, closely watching his prey. This was his second album since retiring the Smog moniker and its awfully lovely with his rich chocolate brown voice flying above across orchestral instruments and his own guitar plucks. His most panoramic album yet.
