Each named after a family favourite dish, Salavador has enlisted his musical whānau, Riki Gooch (Cave Circles), Sam Lindsay, Lucien Johnson, Will Ricketts, and Joe 'Hopepa' Lindsay (Fat Freddy's Drop) to bring his vision to life. The result is a playful, take on jazz, funk, electro, and club-ready grooves unlike anything you've heard in years. Family Fruit is a condensation of lockdown jams recorded at home throughout 2020 & 2021. Benny curated eight tracks lovingly named after some family favourite dishes. This was his first go at putting together a full record and he was so lucky to have such an amazing musical whanau around to record with.
