Christchurch post-punks The Solatudes performed regularly at The Gladstone & Hillsborough hotels from 1980 to 1982, featuring Anton Jenner (of The Wastrels) on vocals, Paul Lonsdale on Guitar, Chris Tindal (of Plastic Impact) on Bass, and Guy Norris on Drums. They released one single — Home Again b/w Mother Suburbia — in 1981, recorded by Arnie van Bussel at Nightshift Studios.
