Written and recorded in three days during the tumultuous northern summer of 2020, the Black Plight EP is Chicago multi-instrumentalist NNAMDÏ’s response to the police murder of George Floyd and the subsequent ignition of protests and demands for racial justice that swept the globe. The album was originally released as a digital-only Bandcamp exclusive, and went on to become the Best Selling Album on Bandcamp Friday on 6/5/2020, raising over $10,000 for racial justice organisations in 24 hours. The album is now available on vinyl (7") for the first time.
