The Avant-Garde (Reissue) (Yellow Vinyl LP)

One of John Coltrane’s more disputed works, this album from him and Don Cherry has the pair playing Ornette Coleman tracks with some of the Ornette Coleman Quartet. One of the few Coltrane recordings sans piano which gives the saxophonist room to manoeuver. One for the die-hard fans.
