Jamaica By Night

Recorded in the wake of his 1993 performance at the St. Lucia Jazz Festival, 'Jamaica By Night' brings out the full Caribbean flavours in Andy's music - helped along by a stellar cast including sax player Jean Toussaint and Portuguese pianist Bernando Sassetti. Festive African tones make their appearance in the opening cut "Give Me The Highlife", composed to celebrate Ghana's independence, while elsewhere reggae, swing and calypso weave their way into Andy's assured jazz playing.
