One the biggest electronic artists on the circuit right now, UK act Fred again.. has thrown a slow, contemplative spanner in the works with this surprise ambient collaboration with his long-time mentor Brian Eno. While the results may flummox Fred's young raver crowd, the less cynical approach might be that this unexpected release (mastered by Kieran "Four Tet" Hebden) could function as the gateway drug for a new generation to discover what music for airports might sound like, and for older boffins to get hip to what's actually happening in music in 2023!
