Melbourne band East Brunswick All Girls Choir’s 2014 debut studio album Seven Drummers is like someone has taken one part The Drones, one part Neil Young and a touch of raw guitar-driven soul. The bands attraction lies in the mellow and intense mood shifts of songs like Darius, the cathartic wailing angst of Dirty Bird and record’s strong musical core. 

Seven Drummers named for those who’ve occupied the bands drum stool, is a bold and impressive release, over its 40 minutes the album maintains its intensity with poetic grace, power and passion.
