This 2LP set of previously unheard Bob Dylan performances was culled from two nights performing at Tokyo's Nippon Budokan Hall in 1978, and is also included in the exhaustive box-set Complete Budokan 1978. The tunes released so far, I Want You and The Man In Me, are surprisingly emotive performances, naturally sounding nothing like their original versions, almost gospel-like. With an already legendary Bob Dylan at Budokan album already in his catalogue, you'd be forgiven for thinking these 16 newly remastered tunes were the unwanted dregs, but rest assured the band are red hot, and Dylan himself is in fine form. - Flying Out
Another Budokan 1978 includes 16 specially selected tracks from the new Complete Budokan 1978 box set, newly mixed from the original 24-track analog tapes. All tracks are previously unreleased.
This 2LP set comes in a gatefold sleeve with an obi-strip and a 4-panel insert with liner notes.
