Long out of print, Alex Chilton's Songs From Robin Hood Lane is now reissued on vinyl!
Alex Chilton (Big Star, Boxtops) was always known to surprise his fans with different directions he took over the years. Songs From Robin Hood Lane finds Chilton tackling a variety of numbers from the Great American Songbook.
These are the songs Alex learnt from his jazz trumpeter and pianist father Sidney Chilton, while growing up in Robin Hood Lane in Memphis, in the 1950s. Originally recorded in 1990, this album features some of his most expressive singing from his time as a solo artist.
This new reissue includes 4 previously unreleased tracks and 3 incredibly rare tracks that are currently all out of print.
Please note that Songs From Robin Hood Lane is currently not in store but is an imported title from an overseas supplier.
Most of the time it takes around 2-3 weeks for the item to arrive here and be sent out but it can take longer if there are any delays.
