SUGAR
Copper Blue (Reissue) (Vinyl LP, Citrus)
Sugar’s formative work gets a fresh look with three new reissues: their debut Copper Blue (1992), the intense mini-album Beaster (1993), and the closer File Under: Easy Listening (1994). Formed by ex-Hüsker Dü frontman and all round legend Bob Mould, these three albums capture Sugar at the height of their indie-rock powers. Back on vinyl courtesy of BMG. - Flying Out
Sugar was formed in 1992 by Bob Mould (Hüsker Dü) with bassist David Barbe and drummer Malcolm Travis. Their debut 'Copper Blue' was hailed as one of the best albums of the '90s, blending sharp melodic hooks with raw guitar power.
