Toil in the Time of Monsters
In their first release since 2018, Tāmaki Makaurau’s NUGGIEZ have put together a selection of politically-charged punk songs detailing systemic social chaos that increasingly swirls around us while attempting to draw focus to the structural defects that repeatedly and consistently deliver it. Toil in the Time of Monsters is an attempt to go beyond repetitive anti-establishment punk cliches, representing a nascent phenomenon of sincere, culturally momentous commentary and sonically diverse, explorative heavy music.
