Hailed as one of the earliest true electronic concept albums, Kraftwerk’s 1975 album Radio‑Activity marks a pivotal turning point in the group’s evolution; their first fully electronic record. Built around themes of radio waves, transmission and nuclear energy, the synthesisers take a minimalist approach, structuring pieces between eerie atmospheres, capturing the unease of invisible forces shaping modern communication. Fifty years on, that premise remains hauntingly relatable. - Flying Out
Kraftwerk founder Ralf Hütter and engineer Fritz Hilpert have created the Dolby Atmos mix from the original 16-track master tapes at their Kling Klang Studio. The new Atmos mix will be available as a Blu-ray disc, with the stereo album (2009 remaster) pressed as a highly collectible vinyl picture disc.
