Honey Bones is a laid-back, breezy album from Angus Stone (brother of singer-songwriter Julia Stone) recording as Dope Lemon. It’s full of disintegrating, lo-fi psychedelia and mellow folk that sometimes recalls Dylan’s early Seventies work and is best enjoyed with headphones.
Dope Lemon’s debut album Honey Bones, released in 2016, reached number 11 on the ARIA Albums chart and saw the huge success of singles Marinade and Uptown Folks.
