Sleaford Mods are pleased to announce the release of their new EP “TCR” through Rough Trade Records! ‘TCR’ stands for “Total Control Racing” and is named after a Scalextric-style toy racing car game popular in the 1980s. Talking about the song, vocalist Jason Williamson said: “The idea behind the ‘TCR’ video was to show and use the actual 1980s toy racing kit in its original environment, which would have most probably been the living room floor for most kids at that time.” Sleaford Mods signed to Rough Trade earlier this year and have been spending the last year playing shows and festivals and prepping new material, some of which is on this EP. This 12” leads into the duo’s Rough Trade debut, planned for next year! T.C.R is on 12” vinyl, and comes with an Mp3 download code.
