With a band name that kind of nicely suited their place in the musical landscape of the era, Love's Ugly Children occupied a darker, beautifully dangerous place in 90s Aotearoa than most of their counterparts. These two tunes, Childrens Dub and Shooting the Star show that despite their considerable output through the likes of Failsafe, Flat City, and Flying Nun, the band still had more tricks up their sleeve.
