Formed straight out of high school with no plan B, Auckland indie rock young-bucks Coast Arcade are finally dropping their debut self-titled album this October. Expect roaring guitars, restless energy, and the kind of hooks that stay stuck in your head for days. Promised to capture the bands live-wire spirit of their countless appearances tearing up stages across Aotearoa in recent years. - Flying Out

Auckland indie rock powerhouse Coast Arcade make their long-awaited mark with their debut self-titled album, Coast Arcade, a vibrant collection of roaring guitars, restless energy, and pure heart, out October 2025. Recorded between sessions in Auckland and refined with the help of world-class mixer Clint Murphy, the record captures the unfiltered live spirit that’s made Coast Arcade one of the country’s most exciting bands.

Formed straight out of high school with no plan B, Coast Arcade have been winning over audiences with their electrifying performances, selling out shows across New Zealand and earning airplay globally on stations like BBC Introducing, Radio Freccia, Double J, and Radio Hauraki. With over 1 million streams, and a reputation as full-throttle performers, they’ve already cemented their place as a band to watch.

From anthemic singles like City Limits and Kids to the shimmering melancholy of Afterthought, the album balances punchy alt-rock hooks with moments of grunge-tinged vulnerability. Frontwoman Bella Bavin's magnetic voice leads the charge, backed by tight-knit band Thom Boynton, Leo Spykerman, and Arlo Birss, who play with the urgency of four people chasing the same dream.
