A perhaps unlikely marrying of worlds between Washington DC's dreamcastmoe and London label Rhythm Section INTL, trust us when we say The Lost Tape Vol.3 makes perfect sense once you hear it. dreamcastmoe is the project of Davon Bryant-Mason, whose mystical R&B, funk, soul, jazz and hip-hop cauldron is normally overflowing via Ghostly, who gave special permission for this US-UK union to happen. The name dreamcastmoe is somewhat synonymous with the Peckham based Rhythm Section INTL label. Despite this being their first collaboration committed to wax, the journey goes way back…from debut London shows in Peckham to adventures across multiple continents, the DC-London nexus is alive and well and this recording is a testament to that bond.
