Pushing further into uncharted territory, The Smile (Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Tom Skinner) have announced a 12" remix double-header through XL Recordings. Due out next month, this brand new duo of expansive and mind melting mixes by James Holden and Robert Stillman, complete with classic XL 12" packaging, is due out late next month. Magic! - Flying Out
The Smile celebrate a brilliant past 12 months with two excellent new remixes from friends and collaborators for tracks from their critically acclaimed third album 'Cutouts'.
The remixes will also be released as a limited edition AA side 12-inch on 28th March. Stanley Donwood’s sleeve design pays tribute to XL Recordings’ signature housebag series. James Holden and Robert Stillman have regularly collaborated with both The Smile and Thom Yorke, each having previously supported The Smile live.
