Local jazz drummer Taylor Griffin has seen his passion for music take him around the world and back again, and now he is ready to unveil his sound to his home crowd. For his solo recording debut, In Green, Griffin has teamed up with the squire for hire Nathan Haines on production, as well as sax and flute, with these six modern jazz compositions showing just what this groove-loving sticksman can do. He might be officially going solo, but here Taylor is joined by an all-star cast of guests, including the amazing Rachel Clark on vocals, Guy Harrison (Avantdale Bowling Club) on trumpet and synths, Geoff Ong on guitar and bass, and many more. - Flying Out
Written and produced by Taylor Griffin co-produced by Nathan Haines. This EP is Taylor's debut as an artist. It brings groove based compositions to a modern jazz context. 'In Green EP' represents a shift in the way forward; in light of modern and global changes.
