I made this out of a desire to create a connection between the parts of myself that were sharded by life. It sucked going through the things that fucked me up but you know, after all is said and done a hard lesson well learned is all good in my books. I wrote these songs in the vein of the legendary Johnny Cash, and his understudy and modern day counterpart, Yelawolf, in the vein of the Man in Black, an attempt to speak to the downtrodden and broken amongst us. The guidance of good energy has been behind this from the beginning as it always is in my life in general.
I love this. I love art. It’s something special, to try and offer a good vibe to people who usually feel mad stink. I spent a lot of time solo in my room at my parents house doing that so yeah, you’re in good company. Uplift your vibe slowly, on the daily, it’s not an end, there’s an upper level that seems unreachable at times when we’re at our low points, but we gotta try and climb the jungle gym like when we were kids. It’s that view on the world that offers upliftment, kids are pretty much always happy unless you steal their ice cream or make them go to bed. haha
