Sound artist Kingsley Spargo’s most recent compositions on new album Chasing Spirits include narratives of yearning and the geometry of life.

Chasing Spirits, released on Pacific Echoes, is an entirely new form with Spargo as the featured vocalist keeping excellent company with his contribution of pūmoana (conch shells) and pedal steel guitar courtesy of Neil Watson (The Finn Brothers, Tami Neilson, Mick Nock). Chris Orange (The Features) effortlessly weaves his double bass throughout, and jazz pianist Alan Brown adds the icing.
The album, co-produced with engineer Zed Brookes, is set to be Spargo’s finest work to date. ‘It’ll be great to get it out there, this has been a long time coming, time to unleash the hounds.’
