After last year’s standout E2-E4 rework, producer Alex Kassian returns to Test Pressing Records with the next instalment in the series, this time reimagining Spooky’s Orange Coloured Liquid from their 1993 debut Gargantuan. The UK duo—Charlie May and Duncan Forbes—helped define early ’90s progressive house alongside the likes of Underworld and Leftfield, and Kassian now delivers two takes crafted for dancefloor and sunset alike: Part I with rolling, propulsive breaks, Part II with lush, ambient swells. John Beltran contributes a sumptuous Placid Angles remix pitched somewhere in between, while the original still shines, rounding out an essential EP that lives up to the talent involved.
