Autechre are reissuing their classic albums Chiastic Slide and LP5, originally released in 1997 and 1998 respectively, on vinyl. This will be the first time either album has been available on wax since their initial release.
Chiastic Slide, the duo's fourth album, continued their move towards more experimental, glitch-ridden sonics in the wake of previous album Tri Repetae, while LP5 saw them go further still into IDM territor.
Chiastic Slide still sounds like the future. In truth, there has never been another record quite like it. We’re all still trying to catch up.
