One of Aotearoa’s most enduring and explosive rock outfits, The Human Instinct blazed a singular trail through the late ’60s and ’70s, bridging psychedelic rock, heavy blues, and cosmic country with fearless invention. Emerging from the North Island pop scene as The Four Fours, the group reinvented themselves after a stint in London, returning home to create a run of classic albums that captured the restless experimentation of their era.
