The name Alan Gregg is one that has resonated with Kiwi music fans since the 1980s, first as a member of cult favourites Three Leaning Men, then as a member of Dribbling Darts of Love and The Mutton Birds, before founding his Marshmallow project some twenty plus years ago. Polite Company is a new project from London based songwriter Alan Gregg. Alan is a former member of New Zealand band The Mutton Birds. Set for release on May 24th, Please Go Wild offers a plethora of beautifully crafted pop vignettes, instantly catchy yet cleverly disguised nuggets of information and social observation. With a 'Fountains Of Wayne' inspired sense of wit and awareness Gregg has delivered a wonderful solid gold power pop nugget.
