You don't need us to tell you about the stellar rise and rise of Fat Freddy's Drop, who these days play to sell out crowds around the world and have numerous well loved releases under their belts. Far fewer people know that Freddy's lead vocalist Joe Dukie has a solo side, which is forgivable given his last EP came out in 1999. Now, it's time for Tamaira to have his lone wolf moment once again with Levels, featuring six brand new solo tunes produced by Devin Abrams (Shapeshifter, Pacific Heights), and engineered by fellow member of The Drop, Mu. - Flying Out
Kaikōura artist Dallas Tamaira (aka Joe Dukie) is known for his soulful sounds the world over, after rising to acclaim as lead vocalist for the iconic group Fat Freddy’s Drop. An entirely fresh body of work, Dallas takes listeners on a journey as he traverses new sonic spaces over six intricately woven and beautifully nuanced tracks.
