Good news, folks! Ōtautahi Christchurch quartet Model Home are back, thanks to Papaiti Records! ...And Nobody Made A Sound is the long delayed (hey, the world nearly ended, c'mon...) debut album that follows on from the band's fantastic 2019 debut EP. Recorded at Roundhead by Steven Marr (Kane Strang, Ben Woods), and mastered by Chris Chetland at the mighty Kog Studio, this very special collection of tunes will resonate righteously with fans of throwback delights like Rilo Kiley and Rainer Maria. Hell yes! - Flying Out
Hailing from Ōtautahi Christchurch, Model Home released their debut self-titled EP in 2019 showcasing their blend of playful arrangements and tight vocal harmonies. This was followed up by a year of touring domestically, playing Live to Airs for RDU and bFM and writing material for a full-length intended to be to be recorded in 2020 but delayed by travel restrictions through the COVID-19 pandemic. Their debut album "...And Nobody Made A Sound" was finally recorded in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland at the end of 2021, engineered by Steven Marr (Kane Strang, Ben Woods) at Roundhead Studios and mastered by Chris Chetland (Dua Lipa, BENEE, Scribe) at Kog Studio.
