To celebrate Waiata Anthems Week (6-12 September 2021) in Aotearoa, Lorde has re-recorded 5 tracks from Solar Power in te reo Māori.
Titled Te Ao Mārama, the 5 tracks will be released as a limited edition 12" vinyl.
From Lorde: “Making an album about the natural world made me realise how much of my own thinking on how to take care of the environment stem from Maori world view. It felt so right to translate this collection of songs, the most spiritual and environment-focused on the album, and give them new and deeper meanings along the way.”
