Refund and Return Policy:
We do not accept returns or offer refunds on any purchases, except in the case of damaged or broken goods, or if, in the unlikely situation we accidentally botch your order up. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Once your order has been shipped, we cannot accept any cancellations. If you notice any problems with your order in your confirmation e-mail, please contact us immediately at orders@flyingout.co.nz and we will make every effort to correct it.
We cannot be held responsible for any orders lost or damaged during shipping. We will make every attempt to get your order to you in a safe and timely fashion.
With all physical products in stock, the order is fulfilled, packed and shipped by the next business day. Delivery will be made as soon as possible after the order has been accepted, and in any event within four weeks of the order. If we are unable to deliver the goods within four weeks of the order, we will inform you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to cancel and refund. By the way, if your order is returned to sender, depending on the reason, we may need charge for re-sending it to you.
Some items are un-returnable including Gift Cards and Downloads.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- CD, DVD, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened and any item not in its original condition, that is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Book with obvious signs of use
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 days.
If you have purchased a digital product your download link is valid for one download. If for some reason you are unable to receive your purchase you can email us at orders@flyingout.co.nz and request a new link for the particular download and explain the situation, eg. the dog ate your iPad. If we believe you and the reason is agreed valid, we will re-send you a link We do not offer refunds on digital products unless it was our dog that ate your iPad.
Exchanges:
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for another item, send us an email explain gin the reasons at orders@flyingout.co.nz and send your item to: PO Box 98-164, Newton, Auckland, Auckland, NZ, 1145.
Gifts:
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

SECTION 1 - WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing:
With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
All your details and information are safe and secure. Flying Out doesn't don’t store credit card or bank account information nor any personal information, names, addresses and emails you give us. All of these are used solely for the purpose of processing orders, or to get in touch about the music and things we are doing that you want to know about. Meaning, we will only ever send you an email if we have a question about your order or you have signed up for our newsletter.
E-Mail Addresses:
We never rent or sell your name and e-mail address to other on-line marketers of products or services without your consent. You make the decisions on how you would like to hear from us and if you are interested in receiving valuable offers from other reputable marketers of products and services. In addition, all promotional email that you receive from Flying Out will always allow you to unsubscribe to future email promotions if you decide to do so at a later date.
Postal Mailing Lists:
We never rent or sell your name, phone number and mailing address to other marketers of products or services without your consent.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. All stores powered by Shopify include Level 1 PCI Compliant web hosting and shopping cart software.
When you use your credit card on our website, the information is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. This encrypts your information, and no one but us can see it, and even if someone did, it would be nonsensical to them. Your name and address will always remain secure with us. Once we receive your order, your personal information is immediately isolated on a secure server with our online payment provider - Payment Express.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
