After the surprise and sublime 2020 release from Burial with Thom Yorke and Four Tet on XL Recordings, it's perhaps no surprise that Burial has made the jump to XL himself, making his solo 12" debut with the label here. Due out next week, the Dreamfear / Boy Sent From Above single has been snuck in white label form into UK record stores early, with reviews of the tunes calling the a-side a total banger that sounds like classic Burial, while the b-side is laden with 80s style synths reminiscent of The Human League and the like.
