Wiri Donna aka Bianca Bailey is back after a two year breather between official releases with the Te Whanganui-a-Tara songwriter's forthcoming debut EP Being Alone. Signalling a new evolution for the rising artist, Wiri Donna's crunchy and catchy jangle-pop anthem has received a resplendent visual treatment from the mega-productive Sports Team crew. An eerily accurate portrayal of a solo artist bouncing around musical ideas at home, the clip captures apartment jams with home-crafted bandmates (whose style reminds me of early '00s Providence noise bands), veering off into wilder territory as the evening progresses.
