Indie alt-rock act Neither Do I is set to release his debut album We're Not Known For Anything. Singer-songwriter Danny Ebdale is the driving force behind the record, known for his band Hospital Sports, Footshooter and solo project April's Fool.
We're Not Known For Anything was recorded by Martin Philips (REPAIRS) at Auckland's The Vault between March 2023 and April 2024, and mastered by Jonathan Pearce (The Beths). It features musicians from Auckland / Oregon including Laszlo Reynolds (Ringlets) on drums as well as intriguing artwork by Christian Dimick (Awning/Recitals). Danny crafted the album across almost four years, exploring the more intimate and personal side of his writing, with a new focus on subtlety and nuance, inspired by the likes of Elliott Smith, Rob Crow, Jeff Tweedy and Ani DiFranco.
